1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SSDI Pathway (“SSDI Pathway,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit ssdipathway.com, request information, or communicate with us. It does not govern the Social Security Administration, government websites, or third-party websites linked from our site.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use our request form, we collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, ZIP code, your consent selection, and the date and time of submission. If you contact us separately, we collect the information included in that communication.
Do not send us medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, government identification documents, or account passwords through this website.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting systems may create routine security and access logs containing information such as an Internet Protocol address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and date and time. We use these logs to operate, secure, diagnose, and prevent abuse of the website. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising technologies on this site.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your request and provide general SSDI-related information;
- contact you in the ways described in the consent language you accepted;
- maintain records of consent and communication preferences;
- operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
- prevent fraud, spam, misuse, or security incidents; and
- comply with law, valid legal process, and enforceable obligations.
4. When information may be disclosed
We may provide limited information to vendors that host, maintain, secure, or support our website and communications. Those service providers may use the information only to perform services for us and must protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Calls, texts, and email
If you provide consent, SSDI Pathway may contact you using the telephone number or email address you submitted. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. To stop text messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or email privacy@ssdipathway.com. You may opt out of marketing email by using its unsubscribe method or contacting us. An opt-out does not prevent non-marketing communications needed to process a request or honor your preferences.
6. Retention
We retain request information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining consent and opt-out records, resolving disputes, securing the service, and meeting legal obligations. Unless a longer period is required for those purposes, we generally delete or de-identify request records within 24 months after the most recent interaction. Suppression records may be retained longer so we can continue honoring an opt-out.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If you believe information submitted to us has been compromised, contact us promptly.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with your request, or withdraw communication consent, by emailing privacy@ssdipathway.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Depending on your state of residence and subject to legal exceptions, additional rights may apply. California residents should also read our California Privacy Notice.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. External links
Links to SSA.gov and other external resources are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another appropriate method when required.
12. Contact us
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email privacy@ssdipathway.com. Please do not include medical records, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive documents in your email.
